Lionel Manuals Review - Repair and Restore Antique Lionel Trains and Service Manuals

Being a passionate lover Lionel for many years, needless to say, has added a vast collection of these trains. Some of my replica back a good many years. I would say my only frustration with this hobby, the lack of good material on the trains themselves, which is available. I am not referring to the history of special trains, but the maintenance and repair of various pieces.

years, I still had to find a good Lionel technician to do their technical work for me. Unfortunately, there is less and less reliable craftsmen around, and they are getting harder to find, not to mention the costs involved. After a very valuable piece of my Lionel collection in need of repair, out of desperation I started searching the internet for any help possible. That's when I found "Lionel Trains & Service Operations Manual CD. I have not come across this before and the bookings started to review a little closer.

What I like about it:

Over the years, I stumbled upon the various instructions and guides on repairs, but have always been flawed. They will offer you the very basics, but there just never seem to be enough to complete the job I needed to do. First thing in the ad that really impressed me was that at first it was the same one used by technicians. These guys I spoke to you about that are hard to find.

Second, it covers the period 1902-1986 to the right. It covered my collection. The real bonus is, it's all on two CDs. Not a separate package for each year that would have ended as a very expensive. added bonus was it came with parts and accessories, and manuals.

Thirdly, I love the fact that it also provides a classic vintage catalogs. I am a collector, and I'd be happy to print them for my collection.

There really was not something that I have left. I was really impressed with the integrity of the books offered Lionel.

What I like about it:

, the total information in the ad is no longer done. It explained exactly what was being offered. I was a little worried a few spelling errors that were found in the content of the ad. Would this be also reflected in the manuals, hurting their accuracy? Then I realized it was most unlikely that the authors of this guide written by their ads. Well I did not give much more thought.

Conclusion:

After reading all the books that Lionel had to offer, I was convinced that I wanted to buy them. This is a great investment and a small price to pay to learn how to repair and rebuild your model trains.
